Night Phases LP1

My first full length album, Night Phases, a heartfelt and placative journey into ambient orchestral music, released on August 7th, 2020.

I wanted to make something this time purely with the orchestra, no words, synths, drums or anything programmed. In the end, everything was made from live orchestral recordings and the manipulation of them.

The sound of the album is inspired by the majestic complexity of memories, how we can warmly try to recall their fragments and they can suddenly fade from our grasp into the air again, or take on entirely new meanings from a different perspective.

The artwork by Alon Isocianu is based on one of my favorite memories: walking in the darkness of a summer night and hearing a concert far way in a park, it's muffled accents and echos lighting up the hostile night sky with warmth and humanity. For me, this album is a loving recreation of that feeling.
