Wildlight
“Wildlight is a concert piece written for 34 strings and no additional instruments, synthesizers or effects. I set out to write a minimal piece only using harmonics for the entire ensemble (including the basses!), that transports the listener from the cloudy wash of sound found in the rest of the Night Phases album, into a driving, pulsing score that represents new exciting beginnings for a contemporary orchestral sound I'm pursuing on future albums.”
